In February 2004, Supima launched a new consumer and trade advertising campaign. The new campaign features bold, bright colors which are increasingly popular in both apparel and home fashion. The campaign reinforces Supima's image as a premium, luxury fiber. There are four new ads in this campaign covering toweling, sheeting, women's fashion and men's fashion. The women and men's fashion ads reflect Supima®'s focus on increasing brand visibility in apparel. The men's fashion ad features a men's shirt because shirting is such an important product for Supima®. Home fashion also continues to be a strong area for Supima®. In the new campaign's home fashion ads, all the fabrics shown feature bright colors in lustrous finishes. "Luxurious, Lustrous, Lasting: The cotton for Fashion (Home Fashion)" is the simple message that accompanies the ad images in the new campaign. Discerning shoppers recognize that apparel, towels, sheets and blankets made with American Pima cotton and bearing the Supima® brand are the best you can buy. Supima is scheduled to run the new campaign in the consumer publications Elle Décor, House Beautiful and the New York Times Sunday Magazine. These publications have a combined circulation of 3.1 million readers per issue. Supima will also run the new campaign in the industry's most influential trade publications, Home Textiles Today, Women's Wear Daily, Daily News Record and Inside Fashion. These publications are read regularly by leaders in the retail, home fashion and apparel industries. |
